Haiti Earthquake

Next Monday the children in our class will be working on an art project together with the Art Teacher. The children are going to design a picture or poster to show how they feel about what happened in Haiti. Here are some images and a short video clip so that we understand more the magnitude of this sad tragedy.

Giant's Causeway

In class we started reading a legend about 'The Giant's Causeway' a place in Northern Ireland. This new book is called 'Big Head MacTavish and Finn MacCool'....these are two giants:-)

A trip to the North Pole

I went to sleep and dreamt that I went to the North Pole.

It was just before Christmas. I went with my brother Ilenio. As we were walking to Santa's factory we saw a snowman. There were lots of snowmen. We stopped and made a snowman in the snow. As we got there we saw Rudolph and the other deer. They were eating hay with a striped scarf and a red hat to keep them warm. As we went in we saw Santa and the dwarfs making toys. One of them was reading the letters and the others were making the toys. We checked if he had our letter!

Then I heard someone calling my name. It was mum. She was waking me up to go to school.

Lighthouse book

Bean Pole Billy was a kid. Bean Pole Billy ate a lot of beans and because of this he grew as tall as a bean pole. For his first day of school, the head thought he was the new teacher. He enjoyed teaching his friends. Once he made a lot of soapy water and the result was a lot of bubbles that had washed all the school and it became very clean and tidy. When Billy grew up he really became a good teacher.
